Digital Silkcreening (6-week class)

This is a second-level silkscreen class and serves as a follow-up to our Introduction to Silkscreen class. It will take participants through digital screen printing techniques: scanning drawings and digitally separating them into silkscreen layers, bitmapping images to print in grayscale, and four-colour separations that allow for printing images with a full range of tones and colours.

As this is a second-level course, experience with silkscreening (including how to coat and expose a screen and how to squeegee an image) is required. It is suitable as a follow-up to our Intro to Silkscreen course. If you have any questions about how suitable your experience with silkscreen will be, feel free to be in touch.
