Developing Your Own Style Guide

Participants will develop a visual brand that reflects and represents their creative practice. Instructors Craig Medwyduk, co-founder of Odelay! and former design instructor at Red River College, and Giles Woodward, former Senior Design Instructor at Medicine Hat College, will use each participant’s work as inspiration to help them to understand their visual cues and how these can form the basis for the ways they market themselves. Using paper, pens, scissors, and other analog processes (in other words, no computers) students will gain a greater understanding of their visual language and increase their toolkit for representing their practice visually. No experience necessary.
